About Edenseek

Stories Born Different.

Edenseek is an independent publisher of original, character-driven stories — across every age — about who we really are.

Our name is our idea. To seek Eden is to search for something true — a self, a world, a beginning. In its own way, every Edenseek story is about identity and the soul: what makes us who we are, and what we are willing to protect.

From Architecture to Living Stories

Edenseek began with a practical architectural question: what if someone could experience a home before it was built?

That question led to VR Neighborhood, a publicly released Meta Quest application created to let people walk through full-scale residential environments, customize materials, and meet others inside shared virtual spaces.

But a lifelike simulation needs more than buildings. It needs art, sound, interaction, characters, and worlds worth inhabiting.

At the same time, Egypt the Cat was being developed as an original story world. When the artists working on VR Neighborhood responded to that creative material, a larger idea became clear: better stories attract better talent, and better talent makes imagined worlds feel alive.

That realization led naturally toward children's books, comics, interactive storytelling, and eventually Edenseek — a platform for publishing, discovering, and building original story worlds.

What we publish

Our comic line tells mature, character-driven stories: I Ride for Them, set in a future London where childbirth has been outlawed, and Society of Killers, set inside a secret academy that trains killers. Our all-ages line is Egypt the Cat — warm picture books starring a boy and his cat.

How we work

Every Edenseek title is a collaboration — writers, artists, editors, and publishers working together across the United States, South America, Europe, and Asia — and we credit every creator by role. Egypt the Cat began at home: our editor Derek Uskert created it with his son, Ness.

Born different

The best stories don't fit a mold. Neither do we. That is the promise in our name — and in every book we make.
